Corporate Systems Management

Kyle Cramer brings end-to-end experience in IT management functions from enterprise planning, strategy and architecture, through business requirements analysis, data and solution design, and development, to implementation, change readiness and deployment.  His systems management experience also includes application upgrade strategies, software support and operations.  In addition, he successfully developed and delivered operating models for a variety of IT functions including Business Relationship Management, Portfolio Management and Program Management Office (PMO).


 

Independent Software Vendors (ISV)

Mr. Cramer addressed critical customer pain points enabling the customer to effectively prioritize and allocate resources during critical legacy systems conversions, and packaged system upgrades. He identified requirements involving industry and/or domain solutions, and understood the purchasing process and buying criteria, where the needs are easily related to the software value proposition. Since customer needs differ significantly depending on customer characteristics, he also assisted in market segmentation initiatives to stratify customers.

He helped define software solutions addressing product challenges for individual customers, as well as the sales process and the delivery process, integrating the ISV "value chain" as a part of the solution approach definition. He engaged third party partners in the sales and implementation process creating a distinct value proposition for many customers across many business applications including ERP, CRM, SCM, and BPM.

Mr. Cramer made many presentations on how the benefits of the solutions delivered exceed the total cost involved with migrating to and/or utilizing the solution (switching costs). He prepared tangible cost/benefit ratio data in support of customer risk mitigation scenarios.

 

   

 

 

 

 

 

    

Information Technology Consulting

Mr. Cramer developed strategies and campaigns that contributed to growth and success of multiple IT consultancies.  In addition to supporting solution sales and marketing campaigns, he developed and presented in over 30 successful IT opportunity pursuits across multiple industries.  Mr. Cramer's keen analytical abilities enable him to influence C-level executive leadership, as he articulates the value of an IT solution to their business problems and the associated cost/benefit to be realized.

He developed and delivered numerous strategic plans and roadmaps for ERP, CRM, BPM and custom developed solutions, and helped launch and execute associated programs and projects to deliver their benefits to the business.  He also helped major companies including Ebay and Nationwide Insurance evolve their outdated SDLC methodology to more AGILE oriented approaches which enabled faster project turnaround and technology capability time-to-market.

Mr. Cramer has been well indoctrinated in P&L and budgeting exercises as many of his client engagements involved accurately scoping and sizing the desired solution and associated software, infrastructure and support, in order for his programs to profit. In addition he had to ensure the appropriate skill level and number of resources were available across the time-line of the programs. He also implemented effective Change Management to minimize unexpected costs, issues and risks to various programs. Finally, Mr. Cramer successfully negotiated and managed outsourcing and off-shoring arrangements to deliver economic and schedule value to his clients.
